Where are we with Arizona legislation?
The Arizona State Legislature is in full session with a tsunami of repressive and destructive power-grab legislation.  The system is extremely confusing.

Thank goodness for Citizens Engagement Beyond Voting and Melinda Iyer who puts out the Arizona Legislature Weekly Update for untying this Gordion Knot.  Get informed and learn what to do next by clicking HERE

EDUCATION LEGISLATIVE ACTIONS

SAVE OUR SCHOOLS ARIZONA NETWORK
 Public Ed Community Action Team
We can cannot emphasize this enough:
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE CAN DO THIS WEEK IS CALL THE HOUSE
Good news: The House is the more reasonable chamber this year. We have an opportunity to kill these bills if and only if *WE GET LOUD.* Most of our lawmakers have only one pressure point – public pressure.
Pro tipWe need ALL of our lawmakers to hear from us (supportive of public schools and non-supportive) because our friendly lawmakers need to make the case that they’re hearing from us.

Request to Speak
Support HB 2705
 Oppose SB1118, SB1041 & SB1105

How To Use The Request To Speak (RTS) System

PRESCOTT RTS:  Good evening, fellow armchair activists!
Join us tomorrow, Sunday at 8:30 pm
Join Zoom Meeting:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83530222887
This week we again have not so many bills to comment on, but there are many calls and emails to make where we can share our views with either our reps or the sponsors of the bills. l.
Join us tomorrow at 8:30 to discuss how we can best make our voices heard and anticipate what’s coming up as the legislative session draws to a close.
Cheers,  Abby Brill
