NEWS & UPDATES

Indivisible FL-13 Next Steps

Republicans currently hold both houses and the Governor’s office in Florida. High on their list of priorities will be consideration of the Governor’s proposed bill that will threaten and suppress citizens’ rights to free assembly guaranteed by our Constitution and a re-balancing of the State Budget necessitated by the loss of jobs, tourism and revenue resulting from the ongoing pandemic.

This week individuals in the Indivisible Florida Network, including IFL13 members, will be attending a legislative advocacy workshop and in 2021 we will be actively lobbying the Florida Legislature in support of the values in our mission statement. We’d like to hear what your priorities are in Florida. Let Mike know at info@indivisibleFL13.com.

Indivisible FL-13 also encourages you to help the Democratic candidates Georgia senate runoff in any way you can. A Democratic majority US House and Senate will help tremendously in rolling back the damage done in the past four years. More information is below.

Volunteer in Georgia for the Senate Runoff Elections!

*Now that the dust has settled on the Presidential election, we must shift our focus to the two extremely important Senate race run-offs in Georgia on January 5th.

These two Senate seats could make all the difference in a successful Biden-Harris agenda over the next four years.

We all know that controlling the Senate will allow Democrats to appoint Supreme Court and Federal Judges, improve our healthcare, pass Covid support and so much more. It’s urgent that we make our best effort to take the Senate away from Mitch McConnell.

We also know that many of you are looking for best ways to assist our neighbors in Georgia to secure these two seats. Here are two options:

Elect Jon Ossoff and Elect Raphael Warnock
