Ohio GOP Had to Apologize for “Wholly Inappropriate” news release to Judge in Dropbox Case, Pulled False Attack Ad
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Republican Party has been on a bit of a streak of late.
Two weeks ago, the Ohio GOP was shamed into apologizing for what they admitted was a “wholly inappropriate” news release that attacked a Franklin County judge.
One week ago, the Ohio Republican Party had to take down a false ad attacking an African-American state representative.
“The Ohio Republican Party is nothing more than a megaphone for Donald Trump and his nasty, divisive tactics,” said Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper. “These sort of desperate attacks are exactly why formerly Republican and independent voters across the state are rejecting not just Trump, but the entire Ohio Republican slate, including in Hamilton County.”
