Vote-By-Mail Requests Soar –Here’s What You Need to Know

Over one million Democrats have enrolled or renewed their vote-by-mail enrollment since the March 17 Presidential Preference Primary! Additionally, Florida Democrats now hold (as of August 2) a 600,000+ vote-by-mail enrollment advantage over the Florida GOP.  Thanks to all of our volunteers for your hard work in improving our numbers.  In 2016, Florida Democrats held a slim 8,800 edge in vote-by-mail.

Community Fish Fry / Political RallySaturday, August 8, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Join us this Saturday at the Chevron station on the corner of Mary Esther Cut-off (521 Mary Esther Cut Off NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548) and Lovejoy Rd. NW for a community rally hosted by Burnette Harmon Wood Community Resource Center. Enjoy fried fish platters, hear community leaders and enjoy friendship while social distancing. Okaloosa Democrats will be registering voters and enrolling people in Vote-by-Mail. Let’s show support by wearing our Democratic Blue and Candidate Apparel. Hope to see you there!


August Okaloosa Primary Essentials
Sunday, August 9, 3:30-4:30 PM

We have a primary on August 18th so we have put together this virtual presentation to help inform voters. We’ll review the candidates on the ballot and explain the “Universal Primary” process. We’ll also provide all the information you need to vote – whether you are voting early, by mail, or at the polls on Election Day. Come join fellow Democrats for this fun and informative session.

SIGN WAVING – North and South County!!

Our astute members have been busy scouting out locations for us to show our Democratic Spirit!  Wear your Democratic gear and Candidate/Issue t-shirts. Or just wear blue. Please wear a mask and practice physical distancing. We’ll have plenty of hand sanitizer and signs and flags to wave.

Fort Walton Beach

Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00 PM

Meet at the corner of North Beal Pkwy and Mary Esther Cutoff.  Ruby Tuesday is located on that corner (573 North Beal Pkwy, Fort Walton Beach).

Crestview

Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 PM

Meet at the large sign in front of the CVS at the intersection of Hwy 90 and Hwy 85 (302 E James Lee Blvd, Crestview).
