The WCDP hosted two forums during the July 11 General Membership Meeting. Those two forums are available for your viewing pleasure here:

Fundraising for the Voter Guide
Our popular Voter Guides are a big contribution to Washtenaw elections, and to get them out, we depend on you. We serve Washtenaw voters, but also neighboring counties in the 7th and 12th congressional districts.

This year, we want our Voter Guides to reach more voters than ever. The stakes are high, and we need all voters to get out and vote for our Democratic candidates — all the way down the ballot! The Voter Guides ensure that Washtenaw County voters are informed and motivated. In 2018, we distributed 85,777 printed guides. This year, we need to get out at least 100,000! But printing and distribution takes money.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of $25,000. The more we raise, the more voters we can reach. Contribute, or learn more here.

Election Advice from Mark Grebner
Friday, July 17, 3 p.m.
Our friends at PEG (Protectors of Equality in Government) are hosting an online interview with Mark Grebner, who is nationally recognized for his creative, data-based approach to winning elections. You might be stunned to hear how much money and effort is going to be expended in Michigan on the upcoming election and how much of it will be wasted. Mark will share his thoughts on what is going to determine the presidential election in Michigan and what each of us can do to ensure the outcome.

Voting Access for All
The mission of Voting Access for All is to ensure that all persons in pretrial situations, individuals about to be released from prison, and those formerly incarcerated, along with their families and community members, have the opportunity and knowledge they need to exercise their right to vote in every election.

Voting Access for All invites you to watch this 17-minute video with the strong, empowered voices of formerly incarcerated women and men who talk about the importance of the right to vote. More information on voting is in the video’s description.
