Why are you running for office?

To take my experience as a local elected official to Madison, where I can fight to improve the quality of life in our district.

What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?

Lack of economic development and job opportunities

How do we fix the partisan divide in our country and start working together again?

We have to see one another and try to empathize with one another.

Who is your hero?

My grandmother

What are your hobbies?

Reading and watching Asian TV dramas

What is the most recent book you read?

Arsenal by S.W. Frank

Do you have any kids/pets/talking houseplants?

Two kids–I have a 17-year-old daughter and a second daughter that died a few days after birth.

How can our readers get involved in your campaign?

Virtual phone banking or texting, sharing on social media, contributing small dollar donations

What question do you wish we’d asked, and what is your answer?

“Why do you have that look on your face?” ANSWER: “I’m still trying to understand Republicans.”
