Florida State house district 65

Democratic Party

Why are you running for office?

I am running for office because the state needs change. Nothing is getting done in Tallahassee that benefits the environment or the average person. Small businesses are suffering, public education is being crippled, and human rights are being chipped away at daily by the current legislation. I need to bring Florida back to its people.

What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?

At the moment there are several issues. Small businesses, education, environment. It’s very hard for me to pinpoint the biggest issue as I am still conducting my research. However to narrow down one I’d say it’s small businesses. They need our help. I want to make it easier For these businesses to profit here in district 65. I want them to be able to stay and be successful here. Giving them tax breaks and financial incentives to stay in our district. Also helping them grow by giving them guidance as they navigate their future.

How do we fix the partisan divide in our country and start working together again?

By electing people like me who know how to compromise. We must bridge the gap between the two parties not blame each other

Who is your hero?

Esther in the Bible :). She faced Death to bring justice to her people. To speak up for the ones who were being discriminated against by government

What are your hobbies?

Cycling writing (I have 10 published books) reading, researching. In love with science

What is the most recent book you read?

A book about st Augustine

Do you have any kids/pets/talking houseplants?

8 kids range in age from 29 to 7
