COVID-19 means we need to Vote by Mail to Beat Trump and flip the U.S. Senate Blue in 2020.
Volunteers across the nation recently wrote, texted and called registered Democrats in Wisconsin. Liberal Judge Jill Karofsky defeated the incumbent supported by Trump by 11 points. About 71% of the voting was by absentee ballot. This is the trial run for November election in swing states. This is our fight.
We will write, text and phone bank to registered Democrats in swing states to get them signed up to Vote by Mail. We will provide you the tools and training to step up your letter writing and texting from home.Additionally, we have the opportunity to participate in a SwingLeft call with NC U.S. Senate candidate, Cal Cunningham.

Hawaii Gov. David Ige used his emergency powers in March to declare a statewide lockdown of Hawaii’s economy and social fabric, in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
He also suspended the state’s generally excellent open-meetings and open-records laws, leaving Hawaii citizens in the dark about the proceedings of their government.
Was it really necessary to suspend the state’s Sunshine Law concerning open meetings and Uniform Information Practices Act concerning open-records to help fight the coronavirus? What can be done to restore government transparency and accountability in Hawaii?
