What office are you running for?

Washington State Representative, 4th LD

With which party are you running for office?

Democratic Party

Election Date

November 3, 2020

Why are you running for office?

I’m running because it’s been too long since we’ve had an effective legislator, and we deserve someone who will focus on the quality of life issues that affect all of us.

What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?

The issues facing our community never come down to one thing. As I said above, my focus is on the quality of life issues that affect all of us: access to affordable healthcare, affordable housing and homelessness issues, public safety, and basic infrastructure issues.

The first step in addressing all of these things is listening to our community and taking our community priorities to Olympia to effectively represent our district for a change.

Who is your hero?

Shirley Chisholm

What is the most recent book you read?

Last Bus to Wisdom by Ivan Doig

Do you have any kids/pets/talking houseplants?

Yes. A son, daughter-in-law, two grandsons, and a cool cat.
