Why are you running for office?
I am running for office because I am tired of the extremists setting the agenda for Texas. My opponent (who historically has voted with the Freedom Caucus 80% of the time) has not had an competitive opponent since 2008. When I realized this, I knew I had to run. I knew better so I have to do better.

The two biggest issues facing my community are property taxes and lack of accessible healthcare. I plan on tackling both of those with my first priority of expanding medicaid in Texas.
