Why are you running for office?
I love my home state of Montana and my country, which I’ve served. If we don’t have better elected officials, we will lose our democracy and our planet’s livability.
What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?
Specific to Montana, we lead the nation is suicides per capita. As a veteran, we need to focus on high risk groups, such as veterans, high-risk youth, isolated seniors, farmers facing loss of livelihood, and victims of opioids and meth, and invest in mental health services. And talk about the issue!
How do we fix the partisan divide in our country and start working together again?
By focusing on goals. If there are common goals, then we can work together. If one group wants authoritarianism, and another democracy, then we need to illuminate the difference in end goals.

Hiking, travel in developing countries, motorcycle riding
