What office are you running for?
Georgia State House District 45

With which party are you running for office?
Democratic Party

Election Date
November 3, 2020

Why are you running for office?
Georgia deserves better healthcare, better public education, and better elections.

What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?
As Georgia’s (and the nation’s only) first full-time Voter Protection Director, I understand first hand all of the challenges facing voters, particularly those who are already marginalized. Elections are a gateway to civic engagement. Without the ability to cast a ballot, citizens lose their right to have a voice in the decisions facing their future. I will never stop working until every Georgia voter has the opportunity to cast their ballot and have a say in how Georgia is governed, beginning with election-day registration.

How do we fix the partisan divide in our country and start working together again?
If we focus on policies, and not politics, everybody wins.

Do you have any kids/pets/talking houseplants?
Two children, two dogs, and two cats.
