With which party are you running for office?
Democratic Party

Why are you running for office? 
To represent the working families of El Paso County.

What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?
Affordable housing! By addressing zoning and permitting at the county level.

How do we fix the partisan divide in our country and start working together again?
By refusing to engage in the hyperbole that surrounds critical social and economic issues facing our country. By treating others with the same dignity and respect were wish to receive and calling out those that wish to ignore that common courtesy.

Who is your hero?
Working families who are the very backbone of our society.

What are your hobbies?
Music (piano, accordion and banjo), reading, gardening, collecting a variety of collectables and community engagement.

What is the most recent book you read?
In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts – Gabor Maté

Do you have any kids/pets/talking houseplants?
An eight year old daughter (Lydia) twin four year old boys (Dawson and Ellis) a dog and cat.

How can our readers get involved in your campaign?
Through sharing their thoughts and concerns about issues facing our society, knocking doors, phone banking and/or donations!

What question do you wish we’d asked, and what is your answer?
What institutions do you feel offer the greatest benefit to society?
Labor unions have long raised the standards for all working people and have championed the causes of social justice. Supporting our labor movement will raise the quality of life for all Americans.
