Democratic Party

Why are you running for office?
To be a champion for those who are ignored by our nation’s current political climate.

What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?
Our community is plagued with flooding. Hurricane Harvey hit this area in 2017, and many are still suffering from the catastrophic affects of this Hurricane. Climate change is being seen in Texas, and we need a champion that will fight for infrastructure improvement and funding.

How do we fix the partisan divide in our country and start working together again?
We need legislators who are open minded, that will put the American people over the party, that will roll up their sleeves and go to work.

Who is your hero?
Harriet Tubman

What are your hobbies?
Going to the movies with my grandchildren

What is the most recent book you read?
The New Jim Crow

Do you have any kids/pets/talking houseplants?
I have 2 adult children.

How can our readers get involved in your campaign?
We need volunteers to call voters, create postcards, host events, knock on doors.

What question do you wish we’d asked, and what is your answer?
What is the first thing you will do in DC, when elected?
Take a picture of the seat of we have taken back for the people.
