What office are you running for?
US Senate

With which party are you running for office?
Democratic Party

Election Date
3 November 2020

Why are you running for office?
The Senate Majority Leader has failed to execute his sworn duties to the Constitution and thrust the nation into chaos and discord for his own financial and political gain. Defeating him will remove the single point of failure in advancing economic and social justice.

What is the biggest issue facing your community and how do you propose helping?
Kentucky has been and continues to be impoverished by an extractive economic system that supports senators like Mitch McConnell who takes money from BigPharma, BigAgra, BigEnergy and other corporations and special interests to forestall any laws that would protect his constituents from exploitation. Removing McConnell is the first step, then I will ensure that those who have benefited from the system the most pay for the healthcare of their workers, cleaning up and improving the environment and rebuilding and improving our nation’s infrastructure.

How do we fix the partisan divide in our country and start working together again?
By putting country before party and publicly naming and shaming all politicians who attempt to play one group off against another for their own gain.

Who is your hero?
Smedley D. Butler, among many

What are your hobbies?
I’m a farmer, not a lot of time for hobbies.

What is the most recent book you read?
A Confederacy of Dunces, John Kennedy Toole

Do you have any kids/pets/talking houseplants?
Yes, 1/2/0

How can our readers get involved in your campaign?
Read my platform on my website, donate, vote.

What question do you wish we’d asked, and what is your answer?
Do you have a nemesis? No.
