Action #2: 23rd Annual Multicultural Festival – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The City of Oxnard is proud to present their Annual Multicultural Festival. The festival features live music and performers, food and vendor booths,exhibitors, demonstrations, arts & crafts and plenty of family-friendly activities. It’s in downtown Oxnard at Plaza Park.
Action #3: CARE not CAGES Art Show and Fundraiser – 6 PM – 10 PM
The subject of this fundraiser is KIND. Their mission: To protect the basic rights of unaccompanied children in the United States by:
- Ensuring that no child appears in immigration court without high quality legal representation;
- Advancing laws, policies, and practices that ensure children’s protection and uphold their right to due process and fundamental fairness; and
- Promoting in countries of origin, transit, and destination durable solutions to child migration that are grounded in the best interests of the child and ensure that no child is forced to involuntarily migrate.
Action #4 – Celebration of Social Activism – 4 PM – 7 PM
