Military ‘Will Not Follow’ Unlawful Trump Orders Over Election, House Armed Services Chairman Says
Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA), the armed services chairman said that military leaders told him they “serve one president at a time,” and while he does not expect Trump to go quietly, after January 20 “all the layers of government will no longer serve him, they will serve Joe Biden—if he wins and if he is sworn in—and there is nothing he can do about that. What the military has made clear to me is they will not follow an unlawful order. Period.”

Covid Death Toll Nears 1 Million, But Real Number May Be Double
Covid-19 patients aged 75 to 84 are 220X more likely to die from the disease than 18-to-29-year-olds and seniors over 85 years have a 630X higher risk of dying, according to the CDC. The older age of fatal Covid-19 cases has made some people think “they’re old people, they’re going to die anyway,” said Michael Osterholm, an epidemiologist and director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.
